Your neighborhood is assigned a phone number. Save it in your phone. When you, or anyone else texts that number, a name and an address are automatically added to the front of your message and it is delivered to everyone, from the same number you texted. This enables to you seemlessly communicate with everyone and for everyone to know who texted and where they live. This is what enables the quick response that makes this service a must have in bad situations.
